“We contracted with McMurray & Sons Roofing to replace the roof, fascia and gutters on our home in April 2020, and we’re writing now to commend the Brookings-Harbor branch of your company. From the bid process through the completion of the job we were very pleased with McMurray & Sons.

Right from our initial phone inquiry, Charles McMurray was always available to us. He either answered our questions himself or got us an answer promptly, and he checked in with us periodically to be sure everything was proceeding as we expected.

During the various phases of the roof replacement we appreciated that, before they left for the day, the crew made sure any incomplete areas of the roof were protected in case of rain or overnight humidity. We noted also how careful they were to clean the job site before leaving; we greatly appreciated this since we were in residence through the entire job. Our gutters posed a unique challenge because we have a hexagonal kitchen alcove which is set slightly below the main level of the home. Martin Ramirez took on the challenge and worked the problem admirably.

Branch Manager Jesse Cooper was very knowledgeable and thorough. He followed up and inspected the team’s work throughout the entire job and if something didn’t measure up to standards he addressed the issue promptly. We know that there was a very large job at another site happening concurrently, but Jesse still maintained a professional attentiveness to the details at our home. We want to recognize Jesse in particular for his management, professionalism, skill, and attention to the specific details the job on our home required.

In 17 years of maintaining this home and making upgrades as necessary, we can easily say that our experience with the Brookings-Harbor branch of McMurray & Sons has been outstanding. We are very pleased with our entire experience and we will recommend McMurray & Sons Roofing to our friends and acquaintances.”

This Letter serves as a Commendation to McMurray & Son’s for outstanding performance in completion of the roofing Project at The Oregon Caves ‘Chateau’. The Project was completed through adverse conditions and on time. McMurray & Son’s was always ready to work with the right attitude and with safety as a priority. This is to thank McMurray and Sons for a wonderful roof job. We were assisted in understanding the types and cost of roofing that is available. We were also given numbers to call to keep us informed of the process as it was being accomplished, as well as answer questions about this big job.

The workers seemed happy, able to do their tasks well, and respectful of us and their co-workers. Their boss supervised them well.

Any questions or requests that we had were dealt with very quickly and reasonably so the roof wasn’t an imposition but a positive experience. The nails from the old roof left sticking out under the eaves, and the nails on the ground even after cleanup even after being careful and using tarps, were quickly cleaned up. We were also given a small amount of extra tile as requested for repair, etc.

There was a caring conveyed that made us feel that this job was being done in a competent, personal way and that it would be done right. We feel that was accomplished and marvel at the roof quite often, especially when it rains and we no longer feel wet in the house!
